Terms of Service

Wavefield Research Inc., an Ontario corporation (“Wavefield”), provides a software platform for building surveys, collecting responses, and analyzing results, including AI-assisted questionnaire generation and analysis. By creating an account or fielding a study you agree to these terms with Wavefield Research Inc.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Accounts are for business use by you or your organization.

You own the surveys you create, the contact lists you upload, and the response data you collect. We process them only to provide the service. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, transmit, and analyze that data on your behalf, including passing survey content to our AI provider to power generation and analysis features.

You must have a lawful basis — consent where required — to contact everyone on a list you upload, and your use of email and SMS invitations must comply with applicable law (including CASL in Canada and the TCPA/CAN-SPAM in the United States). Surveys may not be used to collect data from children under 13, to phish, mislead, or harass, or to collect sensitive data without appropriate notice. We may suspend studies that generate spam complaints or violate carrier messaging policies.

Platform fees are charged per project as quoted at purchase. Sample sourcing is billed per quality-checked complete, and SMS messages are billed per message sent, at the rates shown on the pricing page at the time of the study. Fees are exclusive of applicable taxes.

We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation. AI-generated content should be reviewed before fielding; you are responsible for the final questionnaire you publish. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the project giving rise to the claim.

You may stop using the service and request deletion of your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
